Saving in Other Formats
If the manual method does not work, then save your Excel file in some other format like in SYLK format or in HTML format. Now restore the file in Excel format and then try to open it.
If you still are getting a corruption error message, then try opening it in WordPad. If your file opens there, then you may recover the Visual Basic code applied on your MS Excel sheet. However, you have to search for the words ‘Sub’ or ‘Functions’ for recovering the same.
